I will be there along with 22 volunteers from Bison Robotics. We’re all excited and ready to go! We have many new faces that will be training in on some technical roles.
I For one am really excited for this event! This is my largest rookie team year, and I have but only a few vets returning… so this will be a fun Eye Opening event for them to witness! Thank you also for the Live Stream link! I have some extra kiddos who can’t make it but would like to watch as well!
Seeing as you have such a large number of newbies, please look at attending JUMPSTART Training Event at SCSU. The event is free for all students and mentors - and lunch is provided (thanks to SCSU and CMMA)! There will be upwards of 40 different sessions over the course of the day - we hope that your team can make it!
If you have any questions, please search me out at MRI - I will be there all day.
Are the TBA details going to be fixed for MRI? It is pretty wonky right now, with round robin semifinals and lots of repeated matches (Q14, Q20, and Q23 are identical to Q29, Q35, Q38 respectively, among others).
TBA aside, thanks to 2846 for a really fun and well-organized event! Congrats to 2500, 5172, 4536, and 1816 on the win.
I’ll email Eugene, or maybe just drop a note in moardata, I was going to send them the results from the third place match anyway. I’m not sure about the duplications earlier, but the finals were 4 alliances with champs style 4 teams per alliance. It’s not surprising that it caused the tools at TBA to have a fit, I don’t think that’s ever been done before.
We had a couple of nice pics of other teams’ robots, specifically 2491, 3026, 3244, 3294, and 5172. Decent pictures of others too. Please PM me if you are interested as they are too large for CD.
