More Info - MOE 365 Hall of Fame Contest

Everyone excited about the Championships? Less than one week and counting!

As was communicated recently, MOE 365 will have a contest that is connected with our Hall of Fame display.

MOE team members will be handing out special Hall of Fame buttons. If you want a chance to win something, you will want one of these buttons! Bring the button to one of our MOE ambassadors at our Hall of Fame display after Opening Ceremonies/throughout the day on Friday or Saturday morning to see if your button is a winner.

If it is, you will receive a prize and will have an opportunity to enter the next phase of our contest. This part actually requires you to be creative.

So, make sure you secure one of these buttons and see you at the Hall of Fame! Try to drop off your button on Friday, so you have time to participate in MOE Contest - Phase II.

Random speculation about contest content is encouraged!

P.S. A limited quantity of these buttons will also be distributed at the “Preparing your Chairman’s Award” FIRST Robotics Conference on Thursday at 1:00pm in Room C205. See you there!

Attached are the button graphics for the MOE 365 Hall of Fame Contest.

Prizes will be affiliated with our team’s MOE gear.

Buttons will be available…

  • in our pit area
  • at our Hall of Fame display
  • in the stands where our team is sitting (you will find us  )
  • at the FIRST Robotics Conference session on “Chairman’s Award - Almost as Much Fun as Building a Robot” on Thursday from 1:00-1:45pm in C205.

Safe travels to Atlanta! Best of luck to everyone!

Hmmm time to get to the pits early and get a button from you guys. See you on Thursday. Glad you guys are in our division this year.

And what might the creative task be? Something like this?

I’ll be sure to get a MOEbutton!

Nice thought! However, the creative contest piece is by no means as intense as your suggestion. With some creative thinking, it would take little time and effort.

You’ll just have to see in a few days.

Looking forward to sharing the Archimedes field with you guys!
