Just off the top of my head, I remember that the Macomb Community College event (Week 1) , Milford (Week 2), and Alpena 2 (Week 6) events will definitely be ones to watch out for. Here are the teams at those events who have won banners in the past 2 seasons (and I may be missing some):

MCC - 217, 302, 910, 1188, 1718, 2834, 3539, 3641, 3875, 4680, 5114, 5555, 6077, and 7226

Milford - 51, 66, 67, 74, 1076, 1189, 3098, 3536, 3707, 4362, 4405, 4776, 7178, 7660, and 7769 (honorable mention to 7553 who was finalist at 2 districts last season)

Alpena 2 - 1684, 2834, 3536, 3538, 3641, 4362, 4776, 5114, 5150, 5505, and 6573 (1684 isn’t listed yet but I believe they are adding in).

Also if anyone can find the average ELO of all those events and post them that would be awesome

I’m looking forward to St Joe (Week 2) and West Michigan (Week 4) both are pretty stacked with good to very good teams and are going to have some intense play

Obviously I’m biased, but I’m looking forward to our Muskegon event. Wavelength (3572) who finshed 1st on their field at worlds, us (4004) that won 5 medals last season, and Enigma (2075) and COMETS (3357) who always put up strong preformances are all attending. The only downside is that thers are alot of and young teams, however that can also make an event more interesting.

I am going to say Lansing will be very challenging and fun to watch with 67, 68, 70, 494, 1504, 1684, 2611, 3322, 3536, 3655, 3707, 4362, 5205, 5234, 5676 and 6591. That is 16/24 teams that at the very least expect to be playing Saturday afternoon and almost all expect to be playing at states as well.

Between Lansing and MCC, I feel like our team is going to get some great practice if we can somehow squeeze into the last few spots of MSC.

I am looking forward to Midland because we get to pull out the marching band, and have a lot of fun setting up an awesome AV system.

Fair enough, little things make competitions

it is also fun cause I get to do av setup and I think we are the only event that the school brings the marching band to. I am also part of the band so it is fun

I feel like lansing is going to be the most interesting event that I am going to have teams at.

I’m going to have to agree with you. I am biased (it is my team that hosts the event), but I am starting to think St. Joe may be the most stacked FIM event in week 2, and I am excited to see how well we do.

I think Traverse City (Week 1), where we are going, is going to be fun to watch. Despite being held at Traverse City Central for the past eleven years, it will be at TC West this year. There are also a couple of good downstate teams (1918, 3357, 3572) coming up to compete. These, coupled with the dynamics of a Week 1 event populated mainly by rural teams and this game’s point values should make for an interesting show.
