Most versatile robot

If you could pick one robot, any game, any team, to play all FRC games ever with no hardware modifications. What robot would you choose to be competitive at most games?

(Although for all games after it’d need a control system upgrade… )

I didn’t realize how old this was when I went looking for it, but Dozer definitely had some banner years.

Pick and place? 971 2018

Shooting? Not sure… Probably 2018 everybody because shooting games are so varied and go for the low goal.

Fast swerve defense seems like it’s always useful (except maybe 2015).

So 4414 - 2023 seems like the way to go.

I think 971 2019 could be even better because the suction based grabber could deal with even more game pieces than the pinchy claw (like 2015 totes)

3310 2015

971 2023 would edge them out if they had a clampy claw

I refuse to put stake in suction based manipulation as a general use solution after my 2019 season with 2767. Cool? Yes. Worth the headache? No.

The 2022 Everybot seems like it would function pretty well in many games, given some slight modification for game piece sizes.
