Motor Problem

Hello everyone,
Me and my team is having a problem about making a simple motor control.
We tried to run the example of a motor control in labview but the motor isn’t responding to the changes in the joystick.
So we checked the program while it was runnig: the wires in labview showed that the joystick is working and it sends values.
The jaguar is blinking orange which I dont know what does it mean.
My suspection is something the wiring between all the components.
What can we do?
Thanks for the help!

If it is blinking orange, you are not driving the Jaguar.

Do you have the driver station enabled?
Is the PWM cable from the sidecar to the Jaguar connected properly? Check the manuals?
Is the sidecar connected to the NI 9403 module (big white cable)?
Is the sidecar power wired up? Check the system connection diagrams on the FIRST web site.
Is the NI 9403 module in slot 4 of the cRIO?

Good luck!

is the pwm in the slot being controlled by the default code?
is the digital sidecar connected to the correct cRIO slot? (4 or 6)
is the cRIO set up with the correct team #?

The driver station is enabled.
The pwm connected correctly.
sidecar is conncted to the NI 9403 module.
sidecar is getting power. BAT,5V,6V leds are on.
the module is in slot 4.
we are using the driver station on a non-classmate pc.
there is comunication, there is robot code and stop button.
if it’s helping you, the Allen Bradley LED is blinking no matter the driver station is enabled or not.

Never Mind We figured it out.
The problem was we didn’t image our crio :frowning:
Thanks everyone for the trouble

yeah, that might help. no image tends to kill your functionality.
