Check out the link below. The government has actually taken the time to study the affects of Mountain Dew usage. It is probably not funny, but I could not help chuckling while I was reading it. Dr.JJ beware!

Sorry to tell all of you but the onion is a ‘gag’ newspaper. They have a calender(wall) out and they have headlines like ‘Hoover hopes to restore faith in nations banks with free toaster offer’ sorry to lose the hope for all of you alllll though this could be good news to you fellow dew heads

Loved the article, especially the photo of the person behind the can of Dew.

Ah, one of the differences between the students, the younger engineers, and the older engineers.

To most of the older (and many of the younger) engineers, the answer to the question ‘You favorite caffeinated beverage?’ would be - coffee! Temperature dependant on the time of year, of course.

Only the youngsters get their caffeine boost with sugar (OK, corn syrup) added.

And I thought Joe was a Vernor’s drinker, anyway…

Yeah, I figured it might be a gag. But since I’m paranoid about not drinking caffeine, I could not resist posting it.

caffeine also caffein (ka-fen’, kaf’en’, kaf’e-in) n.
A bitter white alkaloid, C8H10N4O2, often derived from tea or coffee and used in medicine chiefly as a mild stimulant and to treat certain kinds of headache. —caf’feinat’ed (kaf’õ-na’tid) adj.

Raul -

You seriously had my entire office scared about that - we have about 6-7 cases of dew sitting in the pantry room (we go through about 10 cases a month for 15 people) That little newspaper was great… it is now hanging on our bulletin board for all to read  hehe

DEW ROCKS

Hey there,

Well I’ve used the so called ‘harder beverages.’ Citrus Jolt being one of my favorites. But I mostly stick to Mt. Dew. I think I’be built up a tolerance more than anything else 4 Caffiene. I can go through a 12 pack like nothing and expirence no true effects.

Rock on Dew!,
