How can we mount an AMT103 to Toughbox Mini? We tried earlier today, when our FIRST Choice order arrived, but we couldn’t since the holes on the encoder and gearbox didn’t really match. I thought it would be the best to mount it by looking others who already done it in the past.
So it would be great if you can share a picture of yours, or tell us how to do it. Thanks in advance.
I’d take a look at AM -0208a . Product page lists compatibility with the AMT-103.
Additionally, the following threads might have other solutions.
Currently we are trying to install encoders for autonomous and we have AMT10-V series encoders. We couldn’t find anywhere online whether or not the encoder can work with gearboxes. Any help with this would be great!
Thanks!
Update: after mangling the toughbox housing, breaking a few screws, and damaging a bearing shield, we got the encoder mounted with some brass screws for plastic/wood we had laying around (they might be #3 ).
BTW, the encoder we used was the FC one: https://www.firstchoicebyandymark.com/fc-amt103-v
Does anyone have any better suggestions for mounting those in the future?

The AMT103-V comes with a kit with many different size shaft adapters. The snow colored one (I assume they mean white) will fit the 1/4" shaft of the nano gearbox.
The mounting pattern is not the same as the E4P encoders so you will have to figure something out. Either drill small pilot holes and use plastite screw to fasten it down to the pad or use strong 2 sided tape (3M VHB). You may want to fab an alignment bushing to do this to ensure proper alignment, although if you are careful you s…
