Wanted to see if anyone else has run into this problem before and has a solution because I can’t seem to find one.
While assembling our robot in CAD, I found that there appears to be no mounting location for encoders on the EVO Slim, for neither E4T nor SRX Mag. The backplate seems similar to the EVO Shifter backplate which has the encoder on a shaft separate from the drive shaft. The EVO Slim does not have this encoder shaft and no way to mount an encoder to the drive shaft as far as I can tell.
Am I missing an important detail? Or has anyone come across this problem before and has a solution?
