Movie quotes

Ch1: “Uhm, Ch2? What do you do if every time you see this one incredible woman, you think you’re gonna hurl?”

Ch2: “I say hurl. If you blow chunks and she comes back, she’s yours. But if you spew and she bolts, then it was never meant to be.”

I have to, answer this one.
Wayne’s World 1

My turn:

CH1: “Morning, CH2. Dreadful English weather.”
CH2: “How’d you sleep?”
CH1: “Like a baby. Woke up every two hours and cried.”

No is getting this. Here’s another quote, same movie.

CH1: “Read it, roll it, hole it.”

The Greatest Game Ever Played, right?

CH1: "When it comes my turn, will you want me to go? "
CH2: “For democracy, any man would give his only begotten son.”

May we have another quote please?

I think it is “The Patriot” but I’m not sure so I don’t want to put a new quote.

CH1: "When it comes my turn, will you want me to go? "
CH2: “For democracy, any man would give his only begotten son.”

Johnny Got His Gun

“Best of the best of the best, sir! with honors.”

Men in Black

“Certainty of death… Small chance of success… What are we waiting for?”

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (Gimli, when discussing the plan to attack Mordor)

Next quote:

“Are you suggesting that coconuts migrate?” (might not be completely right…)

Monty Python and the Holy Grail

“To the death!”
“No. To the pain.”
“What does that mean?”
“First I cut off your feet at the ankles… Then I cut off your hands at the wrists…”

Princess Bride (GREAT MOVIE!)

“And as I end the refrain, thrust home!”

I don’t think anyone’s getting this one… :stuck_out_tongue:

[EDIT]This movie was released a long time ago, so I’m not quite sure if it was played in a theater, but I’m pretty sure it was…[/EDIT]
[EDIT-2]Ok, not too long ago…[/EDIT-2]

You’re right, we’re not getting it… Hint?

I know the movie as well, but have confirmed it privately, so I’m out. I haven’t seen the movie itself, though, only seen/read the play of the same name (5 acts), so any quote I supply may or may not be close to the movie version. (Sorry, no book.)

Hint 1: The line quoted is actually repeated about 3 times in a duel in verse.

Hint 2: The character saying the line has a large nose, but is not a puppet.

Edit: There isn’t. However, having confirmed the movie already, I choose not to respond yet–to see how many other people have seen either the movie or the play

The line can also be read, “At refrain’s end, I touch!” (The play was originally written in French, so could be translated both ways.)

EricH: I don’t think there is a rule about needing to see the movie before guessing the quote…

Do I need to post a new quote?
(This was my first entry to this game - I don’t know how long people wait until they want a change of quotes…)

Usually I ask for another quote after 1 week of noboby guessing. Two weeks and I ask for a new movie quote.

The Management

Im gonna take a stab at it, is it The Other World?

Same movie (though any line I give for it is from the play–when you study it in high school English, lines kind of stick in your head)

Ch1: He must be a fearsome giant who did this!
Ch2 muttering while writing: And when I see thee come, I faint for fear.

(Ch2 is the “he” referenced by Ch1.)

We’ll try this one more time…

CH1: Happy are those who are far from the courts–
Voice: Villain! Did I not command you not to show your face here for a month?
CH2: 'Tis he!
CH3: Cyrano!

[Guru points will be awarded for knowing who the voice is.]

Cyrano De Bergerac
(I don’t get guru points, read the play in 9th grade, i’m a bit fuzzy)

Ch 1: "Stand still! How can I shoot you if you keep moving! "
