Mr. MOE wins Jefferson Award!

John Larock, founder, mentor, motivator, and “duct tape” of MOE 365, has been selected as one of Delaware’s five finalists for the Jefferson Award for volunteerism. This comes on top of winning the Woodie Flowers Award last weekend at Pittsburgh!

Join our team in congratulating him on this well deserved honor.

Below is a link to the article (good picture, some inaccuracies, not much about FIRST) in the local paper about the awardees. Interesting side note, one of the other winners is a founder of Success Can’t Wait, Inc., which is the organization who receives all the books donated at the Duel on the DE off-season competition.

One of the five winners will be selected to compete for the national Jefferson Award. Go John!

Thanks all for the congrats. I must thank all the MOE 365 folks who contributed to the awards entry. You are a terrific group of people.

Hopefully, the publicity of this recognition will allow even more folks to get “in the know” about FIRST.
