It is another year for our annual offseason event, Madtown Throwdown, hosted by Team 1323 & 1671! We will be playing the 2022 FRC game this year.
The event will be held on November 12th-13th (Saturday/Sunday Event). Friday will be practice/setup/pit load in. Saturday will be a full day of qualification matches with elimination matches on Sunday. Must be at the event on both Saturday/Sunday.
Cost: $300 per robot (same price for practice robot)
Robot Weight Limit: 135 lbs
Maximum Slots: 40

Working on 841’s hotel situation for MTTD this year (late in the game, I know…) - anyone attending and expecting to have overbooking you can share? We think we have a solution for current attendance numbers, but like to have options in the back pocket…
Have you looked at hotels in North Fresno? It’ll add about 10 minutes driving time each way, but there are a lot more hotel options, several of which were quite a bit less expensive than Madera.
We’re planning on Fresno and still running into some challenges. Mostly that after our downtown sac motel 6 “adventure” during CCC, I’m not willing to plan to have us stay at Fresno’s equivalent anymore. Once per generation of students is more than enough.
I’m hatching plots for inter-team socializing Friday night, for after load-in and when there are too many people to effectively help w/ field setup. DM me if ya want in
OH MAN, I don’t believe anyone should EVER have to deal with Motel 6 in downtown SAC! That place is just flat out dangerous.
That said, be smart about your choices in Fresno. Some areas are just as crazy.
