Today while rewiring our robot white part of a connector on pdp broke into pieces. Later on another one on pcm and one on vrm got stuck in pushed down position. I’ve been wiring robots for 3 years but never experienced something like this. Our workshop gets extremely cold during the night. I think cold+wear is to blame. I’ll be changing the connectors so I want to take special care of the news ones. Any tips for later use or ideas on what could be the cause?

The source of weidmullers might seem like a trivial problem, but I’ve had experiences where we bought some from Amazon in the past that ended up being complete garbage that broke in the way you described.
We only buy our weidnuller connectors from CTR Electronics now and we have not run into the problem since.
I now realized I wrote weidmüller connectors in the title by mistake. I was trying to refer to these connectors. Sorry for the confusion.
