We have a chicklet that we are using for an Xbox 360 controller. We plug in the power and the light turns red as is the norm. But, when we try to plug in the actual controller the light remains red. It doesn’t blink or turn green. We have tried resetting the power but to no avail. Does any one know how to fix this problem???

We are now having the same problem now. It used to work and now it suddenly stopped working.
If you are using a battery make sure it is fully charged. The battery must be of proper voltage and current rating. A fully charged 7.2 volt backup battery will due. You must ensure that the battery is FULLY charged. A fully charged 7.2volt nicad battery pack will measure around 8.5 volts when fully charged. A standard 9 volt battery will not work.
We had this problem once or twice.
Leave the chicklet out and unplugged for a night. It mysteriously starts working again. I don’t know why, but it worked for us.
This is not a solution. The fact that it was left over night is probably coincidence. Something else must have changed from the time of failure to the time of function. I suspect that a different battery was used. The Chicklet does not change it’s own functionality. It is a machine. It does exactly what it is programmed to do. So long as it is provided with the min imum power requirements.
