I refreshed and caught the end. Was it show that Video to everyone you Know?
The usual - accept FIRST as your commanding overlord, spread his message to the mindless masses starting an endless number of unsustained teams, and take the next step towards dedicating your life to the future ruler of the universe.
The good news is it’s not that much of your grade, so you can probably pass pretty essily by just attending class and doing well on the tests.
Speaking of the homework speech … tip for St Louis … don’t lock the pilots for the next match in the airship before Dean speaks.
Or, in summary, make FIRST loud.
Hey now, they can entertain themselves by playing rock-paper-scissors(-lizard-Spock) across the Neutral Zone. Bonus for doing it without drawing attention from field staff…
Here you go, I got a clip of it. The video that he talks about was this one, You might have seen this played at events before. It was produced by Jon Kamen, who also got the Will.i.am “Make it Loud” award.
The same thing we do every year, Pinky.
Essentially, this.

You know, the more cookie cutter it gets, the less inspired I am. Assigning FIRST members to “show everyone this video” strikes me as lazy. Although it certainly is a good message and we ought to be doing it in the first place, it certainly doesn’t have the feeling of something as prestigiously named “Dean’s Homework.” The most excited I’ve been about Dean’s Homework was when Dean Kamen had the video contest to “Make It Loud” four years ago and, as I recall, nothing ever became of it. If FIRST keeps rehashing the same mantra of Dean’s Homework it simply won’t carry much weight and become substantially ineffective, more so than I feel it is now.
