Poofs never won one!
The furthest they got was a national silver (in 2001).
I think Bill is talking about team 100 - Woodside, who won a national championship in 1995.
But… they didn’t “lead an alliance”.
So maybe he forgot about 100, and is refferring to team 232 and/or team 255. (I forget which was the alliance captain) who won nationals in 2000.
I won’t ask another question.
Someone can answer Tyler’s.
I’m guessing Team 19?
And I’m not going to post a question because a) I have to go to class now, and b) I’m not even sure if that’s the right answer.
Nope…their rookie year was 1994. I asked what FOUNDING team has only competed in 11 competitions. I should also add that the team I am looking for is still around and a strong competitor.
Wildstang, team 111
They had a robot in the final four in 1992 (Wheeling HS & Motorola), dropped out in '92 & '94, and returned in '95.
What team was formerly called the “Bee-Bots”? They changed their name to be rougher and tougher.
Andy B.
Team 393, now the Full Metal Jackets from Morristown IN.
okay here’s an easy one…
Which team recieved the National high score this past season?
Tkats at nationals…it was 230 in the elimis of archimedes.
Who was in our alliance?
1272 and 716
what florida team also competed in battlebots?
255 was the alliance captain. It’s only been this past year the kids from Napa placed high enough to pick their own alliance.
I don’t know the answer to Matt’s question…
A: Think Pink - 233 - 2000.
Q: What team made it to the Final 4 at nats in both 2002 and 2003?
That looks different than the one shown HERE for 233. Was that a 2nd practice bot?
Team 25.
Ok, going with the question about the FIRST website:
Who provided FIRST with the connection that they used on the website in 1996
Edit: They still provide the connection btw, so that’s a gimme.
Next question:
What speed connection was it (in 1996) and who supplied the modem?
Name the two teams related to 237 by blood, and the relationship.
(237-ers, if I catch any of you answering this, I’ll be in town next week, so you better start runnin’ now
)
Bah to Elgin to answering before me.

Now my three part question going back to a 2001 regional.
This alliance, named the “9th Wave Alliance” was a group of teams that surprised many people,
and
and
Hey Dez, only one of those are right, and you didn’t name the relationship either.
Here’s a hint btw. Both team’s numbers who are related to 237 end in the same number. (Not as 237 btw)
And I know this answer too… But I’ll let someone else post a reply.
Hehe, Elgin & I broke the thread. The next one will be easier, I promise
OK since this thing kinda died here’s a new question…
How many IndianaFIRST teams were in the Finals of IRI and Nationals???
hint:
IRI had an odd number
Nats had an even number
