NASA and the Gov Shutdown.

Hey all,

Any NASA teams hear what the shutdown may mean for their mentors, funding, and the like?

Can’t speak for everyone else but we’re not too worried…at the moment.

A shutdown of a couple weeks has basically zero effect on us. Any longer and it becomes worrisome.

We had a telecom with NASA MSFC education office on Friday, they said we would have our funding after October 1st, or after the shutdown if there was one. We only have one mentor who works directly for the government, the rest are contractors who so far are not affected.
