National Orange and Maroon Effect Friday

There is an Virginia Tech alumni-lead declaration for a national Orange and Maroon effect day. Show your support for the Virginia Tech community and proudly display your finest orange and maroon.

As an alumn myself and a six year member of Team 401 I couldn’t pry myself away from the tv and dedicated the past few days to calling friends and former students of mine. As someone who has spent six years at VT, I consider it my home and everyone there family. I and the rest of the country will not forget you.

I will be wearing my burnt orange polo from UT/Austin under my son’s maroon Texas A&M Galveston t-shirt in support of the Virginia Tech community.

every friday is Solid Orange day in Clemson, and this week, the university made it orange and maroon day. so all i have to do is find some maroon. but i think it is a cool thing to do, and a great way to show support.

I just saw this, was going to post it here because I knew it would be taken seriously at a board like CD. I will definitely be sporting an orange shirt (the only one I can find) and passing this info on to everyone I know.

I don’t have any orange or marron, but I will wear my VT Corps of Cadets T-shirt from when I spent the night there.
