[NE] SE Mass Event

I couldn’t find a thread started for SE Mass, so here it is:

As is often the case with us, that was a wild roller-coaster ride! Something about this game put all 8 alliances on just about equal footing. A real nail-biter, with most elims going on to third matches. Big kudos to our drive team, Stephen & Eva, and humans Sara and Nathan–awesome job, all of you.

Props (literally!) to Norwell (358) and Gongoliers (5112) for scoring the 4th rotor with us. Still, a very rare occurrence.

Thanks to TJ^2 (88) and Phalanx (5563) for the grit and determination to the end. TJ: glad to help you win at home. Phalanx: glad to help you finish your 'bot. Big heaps of praise to “the Forty-ones” (4151, 4169, 4176) in the finals; to Aztechs, Dragons, and Infinite Loop in the semis; and to Highlanders, Screaming Eagles, and Palindrome in the quarters. Best of luck to all teams for the rest of the season.

What a great showing by all the teams, Super event … Watched from FL.
Wish I could have been in MA for that one what a fun time for my old team.
Good luck to all for the next one I will keep at least one eye out to watch

Congratulations to OP and Team 2168, Aluminum Falcons, for winning the SE MASS Event! You guys performed really well! :smiley:

The playoff matches were certainly very exciting with close matches and a bunch of upsets from the 7th and 8th seeds during QFs.

We’ll (1757) see you in Rhode Island as well! Good luck!
