need advice, should I dye hair for kickoff?

I am extremely troubled by this question… Should I dye my hair for kick off~?

I really can’t decide right now… Since not much people will be showing up at the New Hampshire kick off anyway… And the Bleaching process is really painful… But then again, with red hair, everyone can spot me as they watch the satellite broadcast!

Is this worth the pain/money/trouble just for one day? Or should I leave it for competition?

Hopefully I can answer this question by the end of this year…

C’mon Ken
Red hair is your trademark. If you don’t want to dye your hair for just one day buy some spray in hair color for that day! Lot cheaper and a lot less painful!

Look forward to seeing your RED hair on the NASA broadcast!

I voted yes, why not, thats how I spotted you at nationals last year, so you might as well…Just my .02

if i was going to the kickoff i would dye my hear blue. don’t worry, my hair will be blue by the time of regionals. and it’s not that cheap spray stuff. i use the real deal. i’m trying to get some of the girls on our team to do it too. like brian said, why not?:stuck_out_tongue:

I say go for it, nothing like continuing of the old tradition!

I would say for kickoff you should go for the spray in stuff, it costs alot and is too painful to dye your hair just for kickoff… Just make sure you do the real stuff for nationals! That is always fun, I’m still growing out the bleach from the last 3 years in my hair… the people in my school think I’m crazy when I show up at school when I show up with blue hair

Ken don’t dye it. Do what we do at Team 25- cut it off!!! There is no limit to the number of artistic styles possible.

 WC

What did you expect us to tell you? Not to dye your hair

I say dye it. Or be like me, grow it out, and become a Woodie Flowers lookalike  .

Ken, it’s kinda like this…
If you bleach and dye your hair and keep it that way it will hurt less because you wont have to keep the bleach on for so long, also I wouldn’t reccomend putting the red on your hair the same day you bleach. That will save you some pain. As for air at kick off, what will you be doing around that time? Anything you can’t have red hair for? If there are no conflicts go for it!

Ken,

Why go with the expected ? Why not step outside the box !

I say shave it all off …

I’m one of the minority who voted no. I’d say just wait until Nationals and not bother with it for the one day of kickoff.

Ken i say RED RED RED.
I just could not see FIRST going on without your red hair.
There would be no FIRST without your red hair.
The world would fall apart at the absence of Ken’s red hair.
The kickoff would not happen with out Ken’s red hair.
Mountain Dew wouldnt be the same without Ken’s red hair.
There would be drought and famine without Ken’s red hair.
There would be nothing without Ken’s red hair.
I say RED hair RED hair.

Thank you all for responding to this silly question… I was torn between dye and not to dye… But I guess real life answered this for me, I do not have red hair at New Hampshire as of now.

I thought I could do it, but was overwhelmed by the 20 hours traveling on air coming back from Hong Kong… and even now I have no clue what time frame I exist in. So, as a result, I didn’t have time nor the courage to bleach my hair three times and apply red dye on them.

On the Plus side, a few people here figured out a great solution for me not wanting to dye hair in the future… A button with my CD profile picture right on my shirt!!!

We shall see what happens tomorrow… By then, you should probably see Anton and I going up for the mock match after they reveal the game, or at least waving violently trying to get in. Hey, spot me with my GRT shirt!

I saw you! Well, you on the NASA TV, that is.
