Due to many setbacks, delays and needing to help the build team when I should have been learning to/starting programming, there are 3 days left with no code besides default with my team. No one on our team has any programming background and we are all still getting our feet wet so to speak. If anyone could afford to help us modify the default code to our needs, we’d GREATLY appreciate it.
I would suggest using Easy C Pro. You can go through the tutorial, and map your inputs to the motors & spikes in a few hours.
Thanks so much, seems like a simple solution but sometimes we out think ourselves in panic. Thanks a lot!
I’ve used Easy C this year and last year and have had no problems I couldnt fix quickly. If you need any help, just send me a message. I started with no knowledge of C either and we did great last year. Easy C is the definitely the way to go.
If for some reason you decide to use MPLAB, PM me and I can help as well.
Seriously, as long as you aren’t doing anything mucho complicated, we can probably walk you through building a program based upon the result code.
I see you’re heading to Lone Star Regional. Team 418 is also heading to Lone Star, and we have several programmers on our team. If you still have any programming tasks left once you get to Lone Star, and you’d like to borrow some brains, come on by 418’s pit and ask for Danny.
Oh, and I noticed it was mentioned to use EasyC to program with - while I believe EasyC is probably a good tool for beginners, we don’t use EasyC at all, mainly because of the restrictiveness of the license. I’m afraid if you use EasyC we will not be able to help you.
