Need help setting up the software

Hi, rookie team here :slight_smile:

I installed all the required software (according to the WPILib Docs) on a Tiny10 (Windows 10) virtual machine.

After I install the FRC Game Tools, and run the FRC Driver Station, I get a popup saying that this software is a trial version and I need to activate it.

Where can I get a code to activate this?

Your team is given one as part of the kickoff kit each season. You can skip the activation steps to just run the Drive Station even in a trial mode.

It’s a green cardboard packet envelope with a big white N on it.

Edit: if you can’t find that Ni has a process for finding your serial number as of 2020 in your lead mentors firstInspires dashboard.

Out of curiosity, why are you installing in a virtual machine?

I use Linux and the software (other than wpilib) is Windows only.
