Neo cutting in and out

So recently we have been having an issue where when we drive our robot the left side cuts in and out. It seems to be only one speed controller but we do not know the issue.

Have you checked frame isolation? See this thread.

Also recommend checking and double checking the encoder wires going into the Spark MAX. If those aren’t seated properly it can cause intermittent issues.

And, of course, all of the connections on that channel, power, motor, and CAN or PWM as appropriate.

If you get past all the wiring possibilities, look in your code to see if you’re sending conflicting messages to that motor controller.
