We are using neos for our drive motors on our swerve and one of the is following another however there is nothing in the code to make it follow the other. Even if I comment out the motor controller that is following it still moves. Does anyone know the solution to this?
Are you sure that the motors have unique IDs assigned in your CAN BUS and you don’t have two set to the same ID?
no they are not on the smae CAN ID
Was this SPARK MAX ever configured to follow another previously? Any parameters that are saved in memory by issuing a burnFlash() command will persist through a power-cycle unless they are reconfigured and saved again.
No it was never configured to follow and I checked wit the client and it was not set to follow
