I know the only real way to figure out what shooter wheel material is best for us is to test a bunch of different possibilities, but I’m looking for a bit of a starting point. As the title says, what are the pros and cons of neoprene fairlanes and urethane fairlanes from your experience? I’m most interested in how they compare in terms of durability, consistency, and friction/energy transfer to balls.
I’ve never used them but from what I’ve read, the neoprene ones don’t pick up game material and won’t glaze whereas the urethane ones will pick up game material. Plus the neoprene ones come in black and thats always a plus. There are also a couple other threads on here about fairlanes.

We have neoprene (black), nitrile (white) and urethane Fairlanes. The rumors are true, urethane glazes, nitrile and neoprene do not.
