I have seen some stagnant threads on the new rev robotics neo motors and controllers I was wondering if any of the teams that have them have done more recent testing
(hoping to use them rather than cims this year)
If I recall correctly, the forward/reverse lag was going to be addressed in the next firmware release. Keep an eye on this site:
Honestly, just wait for next year. Things will be more polished by then and if your team builds a practice bot right now, you’ll only need to pick up half the components.

The forward/reverse delay has been fixed in firmware version 1.0.381.

I heard the forward and reverse lag has been addressed, we have not tested them out with the latest firmware release. We were happy with them putting them on our old bot, especially not really having much overheating issues
while we’re asking, anyone willing to admit they’re doing a differential swerve?
