The new logo really matches the theme of the website well, good job.

Does anyone else see green/white aliasing around the new logo using the “light” theme?

Here are two screen shots:
as seen inside this thread
from the front page
FWIW I’ve only been looking at CD via chrome on linux, so it very well could just be my particular situation
Looks fine for me (also on Linux)

I can confirm I’m not having this issue, I’m on Chrome and Windows if that helps.
I really like the new logo! It looks really clean and professional. Good job @Situs84

Turns out it was just my laptop screen. The external monitor displays it great.

There’s something surreal about opening CD and seeing one of your student’s designs got picked! Congrats @Situs84 !
I also haven’t noticed any green or white aliasing on the logo so far.

It would be weird for the issue to be tied to your screen and then the screenshot still show it. Maybe your graphics card?

Probably. I don’t really care now that I know its my laptop. I just wanted to make sure it wasn’t something on CD’s side.

I’m partial to @s_forbes ’ submission. Really nailed the old CD aesthetic

Old school = new cool. Or at least it looks that way to me. I’m old.
Personally I like Stefenacepcion’s, just because it reminds me of the scrolled-down look of the Vex pro logo on their site.
I can see why you picked the first one though: Clean, simple, and to-the-point.

I had the same issue, a known issue with Chrome. Disabling hardware acceleration solved the issue.
