New compact rio OI?

Do we use for an Operator Interface in 2009? I can’t find any info on this. Do we plug our joysticks into a laptop or something? If we do, what kind of laptop do we use? Also, is there a defult code I could look at? If not, when does it come out? Thanks for the answers.

A new driver station will be provided in the kit of parts. I believe 1629 did a good job of showing it in their https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=(http://controlsystem.neofra.com/2009-frc-info/published-content/videos-and-media) for the easy to find link!

Thanks, that’s exactly what I wanted. Do you happen to know if I can get the default code for this in eather c or c++?

The default code has not been released yet; it will be released after the beta test is finished, most likely not before.

C++ Using Windriver, or Labview, both are provided with the cRio.
Attached is a picture I took of the user module.

By the way, new OI asthetically looks very nice. As does the digital side car cover.

Thanks for the picture. Although, it is not too clear, it looks like we may have:
2 USB connectors, 4 analog inputs, 6 digital inputs. Is this correct? If so, are the analog inputs the same as previous years, or can we connect anything that will provide a voltage within a certain range? Is it 6 or 8 digital inputs?

See here: http://first.wpi.edu/FRC/driverstation.html That site has the specs for everything.

Ah yes, exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks Joe!!!
