We got the email that we’re in at GSD so I would expect we’ll see the updated event numbers soon.

Apparently firstinspires.org has updated events. frc-events has not caught up.
Todays changes

Southern Maine
+ 61 (now 29 teams)

so much for 36 team limits

With so many events in New England now over the normal 32 teams this will most likely mean smaller than 10’x10’ pits. Teams should plan for smaller pit sizes
New England events regularly have more than 32. In 2024:
Granite State - 35
BSU - 36
North Shore - 36
Greater Boston - 38
etc.
32 is typically the initial registration limit to ensure that rookies and teams with certain restrictions can get the events they need. Some events may have smaller pits (that info is usually included in the welcome packet) but that is not unique to this year.
