Anyone know what the original use for this motor is?
Trying to track down some kind of adapter for it. COTS part would be nice.
As it’s name implies, I think it’s original use is to control the throttle on an engine. While I’m not an automotive expert, I believe the throttle on a car is fully electronic nowadays. I would assume that when you press the gas pedal in your car that, instead of actually mechanically opening the throttle, you’re actually providing input to control this motor that is a part of the system that increases fuel flow to your engine and makes your car accelerate faster.
