New roboRIO isn't working?

Hey there!

I’m the lead programmer on team FYRE, 5480. We recently, got our new roboRIO for the 2025 season. We wanted to use it for some off-season practice. I loaded it up with the latest 2024 firmware, and tried it out. I connected to our new radio just fine, but driverstation didn’t have any contact with the roborio. We swapped radios just to be sure, still nothing. We tried last years roborio, and it worked fine for both radios. Reflashing the firmware also did nothing.

Is anyone else having this issue? How should we go about remedying it?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Did you set the team number on your RIO (roboRIO Team Number Setter — FIRST Robotics Competition documentation)?

Team 6000 also ordered a new Rio2.0 after last season (probably in May or so), and it functions fine except the onboard Ethernet port doesn’t work. We’re working on talking to NI about it (We sat on the issue for a while, we haven’t been talking to them for very long)

That also seems like the team number isn’t set. The USB connection doesn’t require a team number to be set. Unless you’re not seeing any LEDs at all on the ethernet port.
