May I mention this was my favorite robot this year?

Eligibility requirements :
Must have a Siemens mentor, coach or family member on the team (one application per team)
Must agree to use Siemens software, i.e, Solid Edge 3D Design , in the 2020 season
Participation in Siemens/ FIRST Robotics reference program
Which isn’t unreasonable, but the Siemens employee requirement will probably dump cold water on most teams’ ambitions.
Considering Siemens is one of the largest engineering companies in the world, there might be a large number of teams with Siemens mentor.
15 states plus DC. Not chump change, given the distribution of teams in America, but also lots of gaps.
(Really, just posting to add the link to the map so others can see.)
The Siemens mentor/coach requirement was more for help/guidance with the software than a hard fast requirement. This shouldn’t deter you from applying.
