We were trying to come up with ideas for posters at our school to advertise for Robotics, and I came up with this slogan:
The Three F’s of Robotics
- FIRST
- Fun
- Family
What do people think about it?
We were trying to come up with ideas for posters at our school to advertise for Robotics, and I came up with this slogan:

Well those in Michigan will know that my team (Lightning Robotics) feels that the best letter in the alphabet is “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA”, so you should only use lists like that if the letter is “A”, not “F”.
On a more serious note, these kinds of lists have gotten rather Cliché. I would recommend something with a bit more robot-related style, like listing the Seven Basic Tools that it Takes to Build a Robot (hacksaw, drill, vice grips, duct tape, zip ties, orange dead blow hammer, and a blowtorch)
I would recommend having a catchy image. Your not going to convey your values as well on a poster as you are if you can get them to come to a meeting. Pictures of people cutting metal, or using a blow torch or celebrating winning a match make it look really like a lot of fun (which it is)
i find catchy things like: do you want to join the only club in school endorsed by celebrities like: (list celebrities like will.i.am., etc. here)
or: do you like facepaint and hairspray? join robotics…just some ideas from the posters I made
Why the troll face at the bottom? Is it a fake flyer?
(I made the flyer)
It’s a real flyer. I put the troll face on there because our team is mostly meme-spurting nerds, so it was pretty appropriate.
Targeted audience, generally most kids that like computer science, and/or anything technology related know about internet memes. So this targets them.
It worked out quite nicely.

You could always go with the slogan I use to describe robotics:
Mountain Dew and Heavy Machinery
