I’m just curious…what would you all like to see for a new tool this year?
Rob is planning on working on RoboEmu (&)/or RoboGUI.
Please post what you would like to see here.
[It must be for the Windows operating system for 98 and up, but not NT versions [excluding XP])
A Macintosh OS X Panther version!!!

27 days to go !!!
Ok, I think I should’ve stated this earlier (sorry).
It must run on a Windows machine (not NT, just 98+)
But Dave, if I had a Mac, and thought I could tackle that feat, I would seriously try that.

A generic gcc/gtk+ version of RoboEmu is in the works. It should compile on any platform that supports these (that includes Panther, Linux, Windows, and probably others).

Ok, cool!
I’m gonna look forward to that.
It’s nice to see the tradition of Rob’s cross-platform code continuing!

This time will be different! I promise!
…hopefully.
Eh, I suppose you can break your tradition if it’s easier… no one needs windows or mac support anyways.
Note to the humor impaired: I’m joking, cross platform code is always better, and usually better written.
If you want to write something new and inventive( well maybie not new), with applications beyond those of FIRST, then write something likeStamp Plot . I have always found this to be an invaluable piece of software.

I’ll see what I can do. I’ll keep an update on how it goes.
