New version of C++ plugins for Workbench

There’s a new version of the C++ plugins for Workbench. The new library includes a number of fixes including a vision example for tracking the 2012 targets. A few methods were added to the Vision classes to make it possible. The sample program also includes a set of images of targets that you can download to the cRIO or use with the NIVisionAssistant for testing.

It’s available here: http://firstforge.wpi.edu/sf/frs/do/listReleases/projects.wpilib/frs.2012_update_for_c

Brad

Where is the simple that includes the image stuff?

File->New->Example->VxWorks Downloadable Kernel Module Sample Project->FRC 2012 Vision Sample Project

That’s interesting. I have installed the latest update (rev2993) but I only saw 2010 Vision sample, not 2012??

The latest is rev3111, http://firstforge.wpi.edu/sf/frs/do/viewRelease/projects.wpilib/frs.2012_update_for_c.frc_update_3111

Ah, missed that. Thanks.

Yay! Thanks very much Brad. I appreciate very much you (and your team) getting this to us C++ developers. I will try it right away (ok, maybe I will watch the Superbowl first). Kauaibots software team thanks you. If you ever travel to Hawaii, I’d be honored to treat you to a surfing lesson.
