i’m a new member and need a blueprint on the camera design…
Search the web for CMUcam. I know there is some documentation on the IFI site but the product was developed by students at Carnegie Mellon University, hence the CMU. Read the manual carefully, it has a lot of info.
Take a look at this site:
http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~cmucam2/
That’s the official site. Their camera board is not the same board we use, or at least none of the pictures match up.
Some links you need bookmarked:
http://www.usfirst.org or more specifically, the manual section and updates.
The site design is a little…fluffy…but it’s all we got. Hover over “Already Involved”, click “FIRST Robotics Competition” on the pop-out menu, hover over “Documents and Updates” in the left side of the screen, and click the top item, “Competition Menu and Related Documents”. Read -EVERYTHING- there THOROUGHLY. There’s nothing worse than an illiterate team.
http://www.ifirobotics.com for technical specs on all the Innovation First parts (the Robot Controller, Operator Interface, Victors, Spikes, etc.)
http://kevin.org/frc - Kevin Watson’s huge and helpful pile of code.
I can’t think of any others right now, but I might edit/post again if I come up with some more.
And never underestimate the power of Google or a forum search here.
