Heads up ALUMNI! You can compete in the NEXT Robotics Challenge at ROBOTICON 2021! Designed by alumni of the FRC Team 4592 - The Mighty Mechanical Mustangs , who were the winners of the ROBOTICON Digital 2020 NEXT Game Design Challenge, this new game by alumni for alumni will be played during ROBOTICON 2021 October 16 at AMRoCFabLab in Tampa.
Here’s how it works: Played on a 12x24 ft. field, In OUTAGE, two alliances will compete to power their battery. Each alliance will consist of two teams that will work together to collect and shoot volts to charge their battery. Teams will be able to increase the charging rate by taking possession of the boost plate in the center of the field. At the end of the match, teams will be able to climb the boost bar resulting in additional power.”
