NFL Owner Buys FIRST

Um…, never mind. I’m not going to dignify your above statement with a comment. Not the FIRST part. The other part. The knitting part

Sorry, that’s been done before

of course Joe would take pride in pointing that out…

Now that FIRST is being purchased by an NFL owner, perhaps we’ll see further similiarities to the NFL. So when will the first multi-million dollar contract for a mentor start? Will Delphi be able to pay Andy Baker enough to keep him on or will he enter the free agent market and switch to a different team?

Matt

Any and all offers should go to my agent. She is the mother of my three daughters.

AB

I think I’ve been sold off to the Purdue team in exchange for a first round pick of next year’s freshman class…

461 here I come…

And now I’ve gotta negotiate with the team owner since you’re pushing our salary cap… grr.

Matt

With headquarters now in Indy (home of the Indy 500) does this mean I can throw away my drill motors and drop in a “hemi”?

Ken Loyd
Team 64

so this guy likes to buy non-profit organizations?

first the Colts

now FIRST?

whats next? is he going to buy the RedCross?

the state of California?

I saw this thread last night, and didn’t want to say anything yet  I wonder how many people actually believed it :]

Six to Eight words people - Put this in the RUMOR MILL!! (or lathe!)Two more words - April Fools!

yeah, i like football… it’s going to deal with a football game sort next year… haha. very interesting news about this all… :ahh:

Oh god, scared me for a second, but then I remembered that not more than 2 hours ago, I was talking to Dean at TechConnex Summit here in Colonie, Ny. (I got my shirt signed, YEA!) See you guys in atlanta.

wow i can’t believe so many people fell for it… especially people who KNEW it was april fools… wow

who ever said it was a joke?

me =D and the link at the bottom of the first post =P

Aww I guess you guys are too good for people like us

Wow…that would qualify as one of the most believable jokes I’ve every had played on me. I was seriously worried about this. I could just see what would happen to our low budget team in a profit driven first :ahh:

That just doesn’t make sense…April Fool’s is a good time…we pulled a great one on our coach today…our coach thought that our one driver wasn’t going to nationals anymore…i wish i could have been there to see his reaction. Like two other teachers were in on it two and I spread some rumors about it…great way to scare everyone on the team.

I must admit that even I was fooled. Very clever. I was about to call my team mentor about it when I saw on my phone the date: April 1. That was a bad but at the same time, a good joke. I know its a bit confusing…but thats the best I can do to describe it. Congrats, you had me fooled…which is a pretty good feat.
