Ni Cad 7.2 polarity reversal warning!

My KOP 7.2 NI cad battery came with reverse polarity:mad: That is how the factory wired it, wrong!

I only discovered this after plugging it in to Robot controller and things did not work. Has anyone read if the Robot Controller has 7.2 polarity protection?

I won’t have a new 7.2 until tomorrow to test.

It was only by chance I checked the polarity of the NI Cad.

The Controller has protection circuits. Everything worked!
