NI FRC LabVIEW Offseason Competition

I didn’t see this posted anywhere.

For the 2013 Off-season competition for FRC teams will be working with the Robotic simulator in LabVIEW to navigate a maze with several obstacles. The goal of this competition is to help competitors take full advantage of all their sensors the have access to in the competition and to develop robust autonomous code that will benefit teams in future competitions. There will not be a user-operated mode. The robots will be fully autonomous and will use vision, ultrasonic, infrared sensors to navigate a series of obstacles to achieve the end goal of completing the maze.

Teams will be judged on time of maze completion.

Teams will be given a template to work from with several sample mazes available on September 1st. Teams submissions will be tested on a new maze not released until after competition is closed. We encourage teams to start now testing and reviewing the vision and sensor

I am struggling with the grammar in the first sentence.

Should it read like the following?

I agree with your edits – not that my opinion carries much weight. It’s not my competition.

The template maze has been posted. https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-31603

Did any teams submit an entry for this? We didn’t manage to get a robot to complete the maze, but we had fun trying and submitted what we had.
