NMRC (Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference)

Welcome

We in Northern MN have been working hard over the last year. We have created the NMRC! We are recognized by the MN State High School League,we have 20+FRC teams as dues paying members, we are a 501c3 Non profit, we host a kickoff, week 0 and a conference championship off-season event. Our goal is to make Greater MN a strong force in FIRST at all levels.

Week 1 update

The NMRC had a STRONG showing this past weekend at the Great Northern Regional in Grand Forks. We had 11 teams competing and 6 of them made it to the playoffs. We even have one of our teams on the Winning Alliance!

Week 2 Update

Another Great Weekend of competitions for our member NMRC teams!

We had 9 teams competing in the 2 Duluth Regional’s this weekend. 4 teams made the playoffs and with an NMRC team once again coming out on top!

Congratulations again to KAOTIC on their back to back regional wins!

KAOTIC was voted as one of the TOP 25 robots in the world last week on FUN (First Updates Now) they might see their #18 ranking climb there again this week. The link for FUN can be found on the bottom of the NMRC web site.

Also an additional shout out to the Flyers…we saw you proudly displaying your 2017 NMRC Championship banner this weekend. Thanks helping promote the Conference.

Week 5 Update

Weeks 3 and 4 were quiet for the NMRC but week 5 had some action.

We had 6 teams competing in the 2 Minneapolis Regional’s this weekend. At the Medtronic Regional team 3102 and team 3278 were on the field. Team 3278 struggled this weekend and had a 60th place finish. Team 3102 ended quals. in the 13th spot and was picked up by the 4th alliance of team 233 and 1816. The 4th alliance made it past the quarter finals but were stopped in the semis.

On the other side of the street at the Minnesota North Star teams 2883, 3277, 3367 and 3750 were in the arcade. At the end of qualifications 3750 was 4th, 3277 was 20th, 2883 was 28th and 3367 was 50th. Team 3750 was the caption of the 4th alliance and made it to the semis. 3277 was picked up by the No. 7 alliance and team 2883 was selected by the 8th alliance.

Congratulations to Team 3750 for taking home the Imagery Award.
