i do stand corrected:eek: …i wish i saw the game, i didnt see it even though i was in the same room with game on the tv.
lack of sleep always works against you when you actually want to do something, but i must say a 4 hour nap never hurt anyone - as far as im aware of- but im sure somewhere sometime someone took a 4 hour nap and it changed the course of history
but getting back on track, things will change…hopefully…i cant stand another year of the wings being the dominate team during the season and then blowing it in the playoffs
Ok, ok, i have avoided this thread for long enough. I still stand that the wings will win this round. If anyone watched the last period of last nights’ game, you saw Detroit’s B-B+ game. If they can get it to “click” Vancover won’t be a prob. I have been with the wings through hard times, sometimes comming out shorted, but i still love my team, and i still say they will win…
Detroit is overrated. Sure, they’ve got a bunch of talent and experience, but recently, they haven’t had the team chemistry to take on a team that’s on a roll like the Canucks.
Colorado has Patty Roy, Peter Forsberg, and Joe Sakic, but the Kings are too deep for them. If Potvin stays on top of his game, Jason Allison, Cliff Ronning, Ziggy Palffy, and the Kings’ under-rated defense will take down the Avs in 6.
My pick to win the cup? Sharks over the Flyers in 7.
Detroit is over rated, Dominick Hasek has been known to choke during the playoffs, thats the reason he doesnt have a stanley cup in his list of HOF Credentials…
The American citizens on Detroit better save some Social Security for me!
In the first game the Sens outplayed the Flyers but they lost b/c Cech saved the Flyers.
In the second game the Flyers outplayed the Sens but lost b/c some Sens defense man (can’t remember name) batted Rech’s shot away on the goalline. After taking the lead on a 4-3 PP goal, the Sens could play the hockey equivalent of the prevent defense.
We will just have to watch what goes down today in Ottawa. Why are all Philly teams road warriors? Are our fans really THAT bad?
So, ah, yea… anyone watch the Wings game last night? Still call them old and unable to keep up with a younger team? Hmmm… kinda funny that Yzerman, with a bad knee and all, was still able to lead the team. Oh well…
I know this series is far from over, and anything can happen. And I’m looking forward to watching the rest of it

Actually It’s kinda sad that a cripple is still their best player
Seriously tho I don’t have anything against Yzerman…or really any of the wings for that matter…But I like vancouver more…Naslund, Bertuzzi, the Sedin’s, Morrison…I mean come on.
