It’s just occurred to me that there hasn’t been a blog post or anything about avatars in 2019, or some sort of replacement. (Avatars were revealed in November last year) Are they not happening?
I am not the final authority, but I did notice that in the firstinspires.org dashboard for the primary team contacts, there is an avatar password in the
passwords and codes section. That makes me think they will use them again.
They really should be “Mission Patches” rather than avatars.
***though maybe too detailed for displaying next to teams for matches.
I think I would quite like the Avatars as a permanent feature if that password is indeed valid.

I like the patch idea. Similar to the banner patches in 2016.
