Number of TERTRAS

The rules state that 40 Tetras will be available for each color. Does that include the initial ones on the field and/or the Vision Tetras?

There are two red “vision” tetras on the field, and two blue “vision” tetras on the field at the start and during game play. I would assume that leaves 36 tetras to be placed on the field or manipulated during game play. However, take into account, that if a tetra is not “de-hung” from one of the larger tetras, it will be removed from game play, which could leave you with up to four less tetras.

Ok thank you, any other opinions?

There are two vision tetras plus 40 regular tetras per color. 82 total tetras available.

Thats basically limitless. Every robot would have to stack about one every 10 seconds. Every robot is not going to be stacking tetras, the majority will probably be spending their time instead stopping robots from stacking tetras which of course eases the demand for them significantly.

Isn’t it 2 vision tetra per side, plus 40 regular tetras per side? So that should be 84 tetras total.

How about the one that a robot on the alliance can begin with? Would that be one from the 42 of that alliance or is that an extra one?

But overall I think the point is that there will be plenty of tetras available so not to worry about them…

Good catch Ken.

84 total tetras, 42 per alliance.

An even more definitive answer.
