I’ll start by thanking Team 247 for being awesome alliance partners. I’m glad we were ranked high enough to pick you, there were a few other teams that had you at the top of their list.
Also, teams 245, 62, 47, and 3 need to be thanked for a very exciting round of finals. Congrats to 245 and 62!
Last but not least, all of the OCCRA volunteers have my undying gratitude for putting on another great year. Can’t wait to see what you think up next year!
I, from the Huskie Brigade, also would love to thank team 802 (Robo Knights) for picking us as alliance partners, and even though we didn’t make it through the championship, we did the best we could, and I know that we are all proud of it!! I am also love to thank the DeWalt drill motors for not being the ones to burn out on us… We only have those two, you know!
I would also like to thank teams 245 and 62 for a great final round compitition. Also team 3 thanks for being there for us even though you werent sure of us picking you. You were a great partner and we look forward to picking you again. This season has been great for all as far as i see. New faces, teams, and volunteers getting involved with OCCRA brings us together in a society filled with people who are greatly involved in science and technology. I hope to see each and every team here next season for a great competitive season. I send my best regards to every team we were ever paired up with during the season to help us accomplish our first place standing. Thank you all teams we were ever agianst for the great competitive rush you gave me as i drove our team and partners to victory. All in all, I’d like to thank every single person involved for every little thing they did. Thank You
Congratulations to the winners of the Championship, and to everyone on an awesome, worthwhile season! Regardless of standings, we all truly gained a great insight into the engineering world by participating with OCCRA - I am happy to see how it has grown since it began.
I first got involved with robotics through OCCRA my sophomore year. As a senior now, I can say that I have learned so much from the hands-on experience - and not just technical skills, but also the skills necessary to work cooperatively with other people. Comparing others and myself at Championship this year to others and myself at Championship two years ago, I can see how much we have progressed.
I sincerely hope that the enthusiasm for this program continues far into the future.
OCCRA has been one of the most memorable parts of my high school experience. I co-founded my school’s first team as a freshman, and it has been quite a ride. From building an eyesore of a robot our first year (and having an entire drill motor fall off during one competition) to grabbing first place overall in the league, I want to thank OCCRA and all the other teams in the league and all the other students, teachers, volunteers, administrators who made everything possible. I have learned SO much about engineering, designing, organization and team building. Thank you for a great 4 years. And good luck to all future OCCRA competitors.
