[OCCRA]: Starting position - Choice of the Over or the Out Area

When starting the game, do the 2 teams in an alliance decide which of their robots will be in the Over Area and which will be in the Out Area; or is it randomly assigned by someone else?

I was at the game announcement meeting on Sept 10 and I thought I heard someone say that these would be randomly assigned. I looked in the game manual and didn’t find anything regarding this, so I think I may have been mistaken.

Please clarify for me.

The members of each alliance get to choose for themselves where each team will start. They must negotiate this between themselves before the match. Rule <G5> defined the rules for placement order between the two alliances if any conflicts arise.
