Are we allowed to go to inspection/start the match with tensioned surgical tubing on the robot?
For safety reasons all robots must be transported with all stored energy released.
This means that devices such as the pneumatics system will be unloaded prior to, and while carrying to the field. As soon as you place the robot down and turn on the power the air compressor will activate and charge your system.
If you use other stored energy devices, including but not limited to surgical tubing, you must transport in a safe unloaded condition. Once you place on the field you may make the robot ready for action.
Remember that the size of the robot at the start of the match must conform to size rules. After the match has started it may expand beyond starting limits.
Warming: Robots that are not ready at the start of a match will not be enabled for that match. All matches will start on schedule. We will not wait for late robots or robots that are not in the ready position.
