Odd Connection Problems?

At our first event we noticed the time for our robot to connect to drivers station when tethered was taking a long time some times more than 5 mins, that being said we never had connection problems during matches and wrote it off as a poor ethernet cable. Recently in the last two days we have been having weird connection problem’s both tethered and not tethered now. Its odd because we are getting data through the radio as our camera footage shows up but our drivers station says it doesn’t have communication. If we shut the robot off and turn it back on we can work for a bit before this happens again. Some run periods are long before this happens and others happen within seconds.

Any ideas what this could be?

I wonder if it is the built-in Windows Firewall.

where would we go to find out if that’s the case?

I would try disabling Windows Defender Firewall entirely and see if that makes a difference. I know it’s one of the recommended troubleshooting steps for connection issues.

I believe we already have it disabled but I will double check when I have access to the drivers station laptop later today. If it’s not that the problem any other ideas what it could be?

Is your camera running though the rio or through an alternative computer (ie raspberry pi with photon vision)?

It’s running through
the rio
