# of your team

how many people does your team have on 3D animation? we have about 4 kids and 2 adults. Also how much of you animation is really done by the students? since the students of our team are the only ones who know the program, ours is about 90% student done. im just a curious person.

we have 5 students and no adults…

soo 100% student created

Our team has 0 people on animation… I will be doing stuff over the summer and hopefully we’ll have an animation team next year.

I think we have about 6 this year… not really sure, because our team works out of three completely different locations (towns) this year. They have an advisor with them, because we are not aloud to be in a location alone, but I don’t think he knows how to even use the program,

Three kids and two adult mentors.

4 kids and 2 mentors

well, 4 mentors and 8 kids. We get to count the useless ones too, right?

We have 4 awesome students working on the animation this year:-) I am the only mentor. The students have caught on sooooo fast that its been an equal division between everyone for the most part, korbin i need those hands, im not joking

I’m pretty sure RoboCards has none. If animation can be done in Flash, I might whip something up over the summer though.

5 hardcore students…and one kid that likes kazaa. no mentors.

so far i’ve counted about 4-5 people doing the animation…

I’m the head of the group but we are all doing something… which is good…

Me.

2 people, 1 mentor… kinda… he hasn’t been around at all this build season, but he helped us before it started… so that kinda counts I guess. yeah… 2 people… :yikes:

We have 4 people on animation. all of them are kids and i am one of them. we do all of the animation. two of them know how to use it and the other two are learning how. The ones who don’t know how to use it are finding things, asking questions, and doing the storyboard. that is our team. not to mention it is really fun and i wouldn’t trade it for anything!!!

well maybe 5 million dollars, a new car, a new horse trailer, new trumpet, and all expenses paid trip to the Triple Crown.

lol

We have 4 dedicated students and a few that do one or two things, no mentors though.

:frowning: Our seventh year in the program and we STILL haven’t gotten an animation team off the ground.

I have hopes for next year.

Team 103… remember it
We have about seven kids in our animation department. Two of these members, myself included, do all of the animating and materials. We also have one mentor who is an art teacher and advises on camera angles, texture, lighting, and other art elements.

I’m part of the programming and website designing, but I do Flash animation (got some stuff up right now). Click here to view my RoboCards 2002-2003 Flash (working on a better one now since our site is good enough).

By the way: I’m having trouble showing the flash, could someone tell me how? The html file was generated by Flash MX

5 Kids. 1 on MAX, 4 on modeling.
I realize this is a bit unpoportional…

Which regional are you submitting to…I have to decide which one Im submitting to and there’s no way me with my 1.5 other members team is gonna even TRY and beat that.

Basically, Its me doing most of the animation. I got one other guy thats supposed to do texturing (hmmmm…) and one guy who wasn’t even on robotics team at first did some space station modeling for me (he’s brand new to 3ds, but not too bad). Our teacher is still learning (but learning fast). This year our team’s not looking good at all…nor is the animation… :frowning:
