Unfortunately, Mayhem in Miami isn’t going to happen this year. Well, at least ramtech isn’t putting it on, perhaps some other team will do a competition down here.

I’ve heard from team members that Mayhem will not be happening this year. I’ve also heard rumors that it will. I guess it’s still to be decided. Anyone who knows needs to let me team know ASAP. We really look foward to this competition each year.

Anyone have information for mini-competitions in New England? Also would any teams be willing to help Merrimack 166 out in hosting a comp. on the 4th of July, I organizied the whole thing myself last year and then our school got closed down because it needed repairs in the gym the days I booked it. But I really want to host FIRST on the 4th this year and it will take a little convincing in order to get my advisor to go for it agian!

Pamela,
It is a very nice idea to host an off-season event,
but the date is what I’m concerned about. I mean
people have stuff to do on the fourth of July and I’m
affriad that you will get only a few teams to show
up. If you move it to the week after that, than I’m
sure that you will get a lot more teams.
Just a suggestion.
