Our team is located in South Jersey pretty close to Philly. Anyone know of some off-season events we could look into? There were a handful we went to before COVID, but I haven’t heard much news about if any were coming back.

Has a final date been announced for RR? The website still says November 2021.
I am pretty sure it is public but it is 10/30 and 10/31.
Your lead mentors should have been receiving emails from Joe Troy from FIRST Mid Atlantic regarding off-season events. FMA is handling the registration process for all the offseasons in our district, including allowing each teams first offseason event registration to be free. You need to have your mentors reach out to Joe Troy ASAP for any potential off-season participation.

Does anyone know if they are still having that annual FIRST boot camp/seminar the Comcast building? We went the fall before COVID but I can’t find any info on it.
I see an entry on team 272’s calendar (Calendar - LANSDALE CATHOLIC ROBOTICS) for a virtual Bootcamp on Dec 4th, starting at 8am. I suggest you connect with that team to confirm whether it’s actually taking place. Prior years’ seminars are available here: Comcast Bootcamp - Google Drive
I will reach out to the team confirm this is still going on. I’m fairly certain it is. I may be asked to make a CD post about it too, so keep an eye out for that.

272 organizes and runs the event, Comcast hosts and supports with IT and such. 272 has a lot of connections with and mentors who work at Comcast, and Comcast is also our primary sponsor.
Brunswick Eruption “Revival “, hosted by FRC Team 25-Raider Robotix, will be held at the new North Brunswick Middle School, North Brunswick, NJ, Sat 11/6 and Sun 11/7 starting at 9am. There will be 18 teams competing each day. The event will be live-streamed as the event is closed to the public.
